China has a huge GMP production base, and a lot of your "Made in USA" drugs use ingredients from China. Pressing these powders into a pill shape, Made in USA right there.
If you want "guaranteed" quality, you probably need to pay up for a better brand than Equate. I'd trust Tylenol made in China (yes they do make them there too) over a US made Equate.
