My first oil report from the Honda Civic. From the looks of the report, I could go up to 12,000 on the oil. Any input/suggestions would be appreciated!!
Below is off the Blackstone oil report.
There's nothing cautionary in this sample from your Civic. Wear metals look great compared to universal averages, which show typical wear levels for this type of engine after about 6,900 miles on the oil. You went past that mark and wear metals are still quite low. No fuel or coolant turned up and air and oil filtration are fine. The TBN is 3.2, showing active additive left. A reading of 1.0 or less is low. Try 12,000 miles on the next oil.
