But, on Friday it was excellent skiing day at Arapahoe Basin at nice -2 and wind chill if -30 during sustained 30mph winds and gusts to 60mph.

It's 20°F so the great thaw begins.
Easy 60 degrees each day, upper 50s at the worse. But now, starting this week, as with much of the nation a cold front will move deeper into the south.
A few nights this week of the 30s and later on the 20s then Saturday night time low might get as low as 20 degrees 1/20/24 and possibly only 45 daytime. This isnt a historical long term cold front in the Carolinas, though the media makes it sound like it. Unless of course the forecast for the following week turns out the same.
