How do you usually cut your toast?

when I was a kid, Mum cut the toast into quarters, then later diagonal halves...same with sandwiches.

when I became in control, I cut them across ways...easier to eat the crust off then enjoy the middle bit.

Now toast I don't cut, sandwiches crosswise

You start the silliest threads......

I never cut my toast.

I usually zap an egg in the microwave (scrambled, with a little Cajun seasoning mixed in)

I toast two slices,
1) slide the egg "disc" onto one slice,
2) add one slice of cheese
3) top with other toast

VOILA!! Scrambled egg sandwich!

And I finished off the gravy today. After seeing the picture of the SOS, I had to channel oilBabe and take a photo of my breakfast for this thread:

I had to put some hot sauce on the eggs to add some zing!

As an aside, I was craving biscuits and gravy yesterday, but need to avoid the carb density of the biscuit. I've found toast and gravy, (thicker than SOS) is an acceptable substitution using healthier bread choices

And as per usual, I didn't cut my toast. Just plopped a measured 1/2 cup of the sausage gravy goodness over the top of it along side my two sunny side up eggs.

The mere mention of SOS spurred this thread.
