High Price of Honda CVT Fluid

I just drained and refilled about 3 litres of CVT fluid in my 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid. The fluid cost $16.00 per litre! That is crazy. What does it cost my neighbours south of the Canadian border? I may find a Honda dealership in Detroit or Port Huron the next time I am over. I don't think I would consider anything but OEM fluid for this poorly buit transmission.

The last time I went to a Honda dealer for Z1 the CVT stuff was about $7.50/quart.

If you think that's expensive, Chrysler wants over $40.00 a liter for their CVT+4 fluid!

Try $75 a quart for ZF transmission fluid.

Actually just got some last night. Paid $9/qt. It's actually cheaper than the ps fluid-paid $5 for 12 oz.

I had a friend go over to Dearborn Michigan today. He brought me back a dozen quarts of CVT fluid at $7.49 a quart. Just about half the price of the same stuff in Canada!
