Acura EL 1.7 (upscale Honda Civic) - Options for Manual Transmission Fluid?

I appreciate the RP recommendation, but am dismayed by the confirmation that the transmission holds so little fluid. Amazing it still seems to be fine.

Perhaps manual transmissions don't need as much fluid as automatic transmissions

Agreed, but IIRC all of our Mazdas with MTs (7 in total) have held around 3 litres.

It looks like the Acura in question holds about half that.
