my 2001 jetta with the poor 02j 5 speed manual + soft syncros shifted poorly almost from new, redline MT90 helped for a while until 25 lb boost stripped the teeth off 5th, good luck!!! actually under the 100 thou warranty but the stealer only swapped trannys so my Quaife $$$ would go, got a quality fix at APTuning in Lebanon Pa that did trannies for dealers, pulled the tranny locally + took it in for repair $$$$, still good when sold at about 120 thou!!
