"Ford vs. Ferrari" movie - Any good?

It is the classic "Americans with their old-fashioned pushrod torquey engines" besting very high tech Ferrari-style engines. We looked like hillbillies compared to those Italians. David vs. Goliath, except for Ford's money of course!

As for how Matt Damon did playing Shelby, I have seen some video interviews etc. of Shelby and Damon nailed his mannerisms. Bale had the colorful role so people will note that more.

Ron Howard's "Rush" was great too. I'm not sure which one I like better.

I saw that one also, and liked it a lot. It was more about the personality differences between Lauda and Hunt. What trips my trigger in Ford V Ferrari is the detail they went into chronicling Miles' technical development of the car. Being an engineer, I relate to that kind of thing.

I saw it yesterday and loved the detail and back story built-in. Some dramatization, but not over the top.

I thought it was a great movie--have to love Miles, hate Beebe, and grin at a young Iacocca.
