Do you participate in potlucks?

Heck yeah I participate. Any man isn’t going to turn down free food. Lol. Usually when we do it we have food provided from a restaurant like Chick Fil A or Panera or somewhere. We have over 800 employees so hard for someone to cook that much food.

Per a city bylaw, indoor church potlucks are no longer allowed here.

Food may be prepared in a commercial-grade kitchen and served in the church.

I presume this applies to other institutions - service clubs, etc.

We used to have a Goodie Day potluck at work before Christmas. There was the occasional instance of food poisoning. Overeating was a greater hazard for me.

We're having one at work in a couple of weeks.
Do I trust my coworkers? The hamburgers and hotdogs cooked over a flame before my eyes, yes. The buns come from a store in a bag. Homemade side dishes? I don't have to eat them.
