Disney not my cup of tea but it is a valid experience in life for kids and some adults. My kids have begged us to go but just has not happened yet.
I work for experiences and supporting my kids.
Did it for the kids, 2 years ago... On my birthday (28 December: Yep, full season at Disneyland Florida); What parents do for kids.....
Comfy shoes and bought strollers for each kid...
Kids had a blast! They where tired flat out, but had a blast.....
The 2 hardest things:
-an Irish/Boston guy who had to go trough the rows of parents, kids and strollers and persons sitting on the ground, in the dark, no matter what: "I payed my money,..............and I'm going' to see it............"
-The drive back to the hotel after 10:30pm trough Half of Florida (Orlando to the coast), while everybody was flat out exhausted in the seats next to and behind me. Had to get them back in one piece. Toughest motivation when drowsiness comes............
Second last time was also about 12 years ago with me and my bride, hehe single time: we interrupted our visit to help my step-brother and my pregnant SIL and get my little niece to hug all the fluffy characters and see all the things princess for a 3-years old....
He repaid me by screwing up my mother's inheritance big time....
