Wix or Napa Gold fits the bill quite nicely. I agree with you on not running nitrile for 10k miles. Im skeptical on how ebay sellers are able to sell Ultras for so cheap...

Pays to be skeptical, however, I've bought Ultras several times the last few years and they were always in sealed boxes just like the ones from Walmart. No idea how they do it, just glad they did.

As for topic, of the choices my preference because of element construction type and including silicone adbv is the Wix/Napa Gold. The fact that I can obtain them for <$4 makes them a good value too. That said not my intention to enter a "battle", everyone should use what they like.
Sure wix looks OK when new but have u seen how wavy and buckled the media is after 5k? Just look at the cut and posts..
Here's my most recent of many similar Napa Gold's (same as Wix) I've posted, ~6k miles fci on this one posted here . Looks fine to me, could have gone farther. And not that some wave has any effect on function, 'in my observation' majority NG/Wix post use anecdotes look similar/same.

They tooled up and made a new model filter for a fairly uncommon electric hybrid car? Heavy construction, silicone valve, full synthetic, why? The OE doesn't even have an adbv. It has a 1.4 liter non turbo engine from Opel Germany made in USA. In any case it is something a bit better for any GM application that uses the pf47.

Sayjac - that really does look like a Fram Ultra. Are you sure that's a NAPA Gold ?

$6.50 wise, I'd pick the TG or the WIX. Both are very good.
Supertech/ NAPA ProSelects, AC Delco, Fram Extra Guard etc. I would rank at the $3 filters. Still very good, but with nitrile ADBV's, I wouldn't rank them like the others.
Of course YMMV and NAPA has their yearly farmer filter sales bringing those Golds down to just above Extra Guard prices.
