Just changed all my vehicles from Mobil1 75w-90 to SuperTech Syn 75w-140. Very happy with the results.

No magic in rear diff juice. Anything made right for the lowest buck.

WPp 75W90 Supertech in the Subaru. Works fine so far.

No seal leaks noticed on the brakes because -

If I was at a real AP store for a HP/SHD application, I'd get an RDS product

IIRC from the old amsoil chartered 3rd party test of gear oils Lucas and RP were the 2 that performed worst.

Amsoil, redline performed the best and motul wasnt tested. (out of about 15 gear oils)

Doesn't a friction modifier make it slip more vs. controlling the amount of slip? Or, am I misunderstanding?

I like Amsoil and Redline and Mobil-1, and didn't think any synthetic was supposed to need additive- I've never used it with a synthetic.

I used Mobil 1 when I changed my gear oil. 30K miles later I lost my pinion bearing.
Not 100% causal but my faith in M1 has been damaged.
