Just sampled, didn't dump and I think I'll agree with them that oxidation is just the oil and not use. Impressive TBN retention considering it gets beat down with short trips.

Why even run HPL 0W-20 (without a VW 508 00 approval I guess)?
Why not just some 0W/5W-30 (with or without VW 504 00) instead?

It was out of powertrain at 50k...not that I think HPL was worse than the dealer service.

I am going to do a run of 5w30 for poops & laughs though.

Seems to be inline with #4 sample & overall trend. Looks good. No need to send in a VOA just for the oxidation since it's around that range from the start. I think in the 20's or low 30's.
