I did not own the vehicle at 36k so I cannot be sure what the consumption was back then. The catalytic converter is iffy. I replaced the front o2 sensor since it was throwing a code but it still comes on every so often for catalyst efficiency problems. My friend also has a 07 Accord woth the same engine but it only has around 150k and his only consumes maybe 1 quart per 6-7k.
