FYI for those who have one or similar one, the trans pan is paper thin and can weep. Mine was recently replaced under my 999,999,999 mile lifetime warranty. Just a hint of rust will penetrate the pan and make it leak.

BTW, the factory pan is also thin enough that the dipstick can wear a hole in it. In the 68RFE, the dipstick meets a "shelf" higher than the bottom of the pan. Diesels vibrate enough to help the dipstick eat a hole straight through. Same reason why a fluid extraction pump can't evacuate entire pan.
I have the Dorman pan on my auto Ram. Use plumbers tape on the drain bolt threads. Leaks with a crush washer alone.
