2008 Subaru WRX STI, 6854 Miles OCI, Amsoil Euro

There was a WRX owner here that ran Motul 300V 0W-20 several years sgo, although I don't recall if he ever posted a uoa. I'd run a robust 0W-20 over a weaker 5W-30 any day.

Doesn't Amsoil themselves say to stick with the 3,750 mile OCI recommendation on turbo-equipped Subaru as per the manufacturer's TSB?

I don't think I'd have the guts to try it, though I bet it'd work out just fine.

They mimicked Subaru's recommendation due to concerns of the filter in the oil supply line to the turbo clogging. AFAIK, the filter is not present in my '08, so the concern is not valid.
