10w30 in 5w20 recommend by Honda Pilot 2007

10w-30 in Georgia should be absolutely fine in your Honda. Summer time in Texas I am using 10w-30 in a Toyota that specs a 5w-20 and a Ford that specs 5w-30. I agree that 10w-30 is a universal grade in just about any passenger car or light truck in the south US. Put your mind at ease.

10W30 is good down to 0F or -20C, below that run 5W30.

Above 0F I prefer 10W30 because it's more shear stable and less volatile.
