21,000 Miles on Tires

These tires have something wrong with them. Mine need to be replaced after 2 years. They advertise a 90000 mile life. It all over the internet, people having the same problem. I be always bought Michelin tires. But I am going to have to switch to another brand. Had a set of Michelin x tires before that went over 80k. Don't know why they did this. Still advertising it as aa 90000 mile tire even though the average seems to be around 30000. Stay away. Definitely not your typical Michelin

37,000 Miles on Tires

Not sure if it is the Odyssey being so hard on tires or if it was a poor rubber compound on these Defenders, but they wore down evenly to 2/32" - 3/32" on all four tires at 37,000 miles. I was very satisfied with ride comfort and road noise with the Defenders, but extremely disappointed with tread wear. Not sure what Michelin did when they replaced the Harmony with the Defender, but I had previously had 2 sets of Harmony's on a Dodge Grand Caravan and both of them held up extremely well and I ran to the warranty (80,000 on the first set) and sold the vehicle with 30,000 on the second set and they still had more than 50% tread life left. Michelin - Bring back the Harmony model, please.

38,000 Miles on Tires

I 've had these tire for 2.5 years and they must be replaced after only 38,000 miles. Most of my driving is on the interstate. The noise from these tires has gotten worse over the past year...now can hardly talk to person next to me without having to raise my voice. Would not buy again or recommend.

30,000 Miles on Tires

Tires were great when new. After 30,000 miles the tires are bald. Not great for 90,000 tires. I won't spend this kind of money again.

45,000 Miles on Tires

Paid a premium based on the 90,000 mile warranty. I will be lucky to get 45,000 miles from these tires in spite of regular rotation. I would be OK with these tires if they were about %50 less expensive.

25,309 Miles on Tires
February 23, 2015
I have put 25,309 miles on these tires and they are almost to the point of needing to be replaced. I perform a standard tire rotation with every oil change which is about every 5500 miles on average. I also check the tire pressure quite often and also check the tire wear with a depth gauge to ensure even wear and look for any abnormal wear. There is no reason for these tires to be at 3/32" tread depth already. The only thing good is that they have been a quiet tire with great ride quality and stopping distance is exceptional as well. Being my second set of Michelin tires, and a set of BF Goodrich (Michelin owned) that haven't lasted very long I'm not even going to bother with the pro-rated 90k warranty. Considering the money I paid to have a top rated tire on the family vehicle, I'm very disappointed with the short tread life of these tires.
