You do need to find the other piece, but I bet it is in the tube. Removing most Toyota oil pans is not a trivial task. Even if the access is unrestricted (which generally it is), the Toyota FPG used to attach the pan is like welding it on the block. Toyota has a special tool to cut the seal, without cutting it there is no way you will get that pan off if FPG is used to attach it. The upside is that they almost never leak but getting it off is not easy.
