local motor factors just started carrying the MAxlife full synth 5w-40, which is exactly what I want with regards to viscosity

Been a while since I've visted the forum, but Maxlife seemed to be fairly well regarded here... Is it still?

The engine in my car doesn't use oil, but it weeps a bit, used Total Quartz 9000 5w-40 for my last 2 fill ups...

think I'll buy all 3 bottles then... I need about 5 liters per fill, but the bottles only hold 4...

to be chosen over syn power 5w-40 then?

Maxlife full syn 5w-40 is not available in North America, only two grades I saw here are 5W30 and 10W30.

Valvoline Syn-Power 5w-40 is available in North America on paper, I never saw it at any auto parts store.

For your application with a little oil leak, I would pick Maxlife full syn 5w-40.
