Cost is no object if real improvements in durability, relaibility and longevity can be expected.

Is the LS3 6.2L or 7.0L?

I'd use M1 in the engine, Amsoil gear oils. GM engineer I've spoken with said M1 has no wear issues at all and they test with it a lot. Amsoil/PP/Redline/Valvoline are just a few other good choices also if you decide you dont want to use M1.

I'm planning (hoping?) on getting a new Camaro when they come out. I'll probably be using Amsoil HDD 5W-30 as I think that's one of the best oils out there for a (mainly) street driven vehicle that calls for a 5W-30.

I purchased SSO after waiting several months for a recommendation from Amsoil. My next oil change will be with SSO and an EA047 filter.

consider replacing the factory power steering fluid with Royal Purple PSF, since it isn't designed for ATF.

Everywhere else, I'd recommend filling with Amsoil.
