What oils did you use for carbeurated vehicles

A TRUE work or ART!!! Enjoy that machine. Always loved the valve covers that came on the 396s.
Thanks! The 396 certainly is an amazing engine. The engine had over 90k miles and was seized when I bought it, so those valve covers were one of the few original parts. Unfortunately I sold it in the mid 90s so I no longer get the thrill of a big block!

All of my carbureted machines currently get some form of an HDEO.
At this point for me its just small engines (tractors, 4wheelers, go-kart, mini-bikes, other toys and equipment) so its a yearly or bi-yearly change. Usually Rotella 15/40 for the classic machines, and T5 in the newer engines. My 4wheeler (semi/lightly-built Yamaha Warrior 350) is an insanely high fuel diluter, for obvious reasons. I run T6 in it twice a year when riding it, as the T6 has the wet-clutch rating (I forget that spec at the moment)

My last carbureted vehicle though (Subaru GL), was still Rotella white bottle and every 4,000 (maybe 3,500 in coldest months due to longer idle times)
