Funny thing is, they were on the clearance rack but had no price on them. I inquired with a worker... he couldn't help... got manager... manager didn't seem to care. Asked how 99 cents for the quarts and 3.99 for the jugs sounded. He said they were not stocking Ultra anymore and he was sick of seeing them... had a really apathetic attitude.

Anyway... he asked how many I wanted and I said all of them. He looked at me like I had a mental disorder... I just smiled and thanked him. It was a little embarrassing walking out with that many in a cart, but I could care less.

15 x $3.99 = $59.85
10 x $0.99 = $9.90
Paying $69.75 for 17 Ultra oil changes = priceless

P.S. I'm still pi$$3d at Pennzoil for their shenanigans with Ultra!

Very smart to offer them that price to clear their unwanted inventory.

Nothing to be embarrassed for deal of decade.

Now fill out the rebate forms to get two $10 rebate per address, also if you have newer vehicles fill out the $25 warranty rebate(s), so in the end Pennzoil and Walmart pay you to use their oils.

True, but WalMart's accounting works a little different than everybody else. You see it as they lost money (and they did), but they see it as freeing up aisle space so they can put something else there that WILL sell and make themselves some money.

I passed out for a sec...I agree: best score EVER!

Stuff moves off the shelves of my local WalMarts too quickly. We never even saw hardly any of the clearance NextGen jugs. Great score. My current stash consists of ~165 various quarts, plus 2.5 cases of ATF.

I think even Tig1 might even use something other than M1 at that price lol . Here in the Northern VA area Ultra is selling like hotcakes , they cannot keep it on the shelves. This has to be a regional thing.
