I hope none of you Amish people visit a Brazilian beach.

Also, what about all the free lovin' half-naked hippie chicks running around braless in a short sun dress back in the 60's? Wouldn't they be the equivalent of the "mall rats" of today? I bet if the hippie chicks were introduced to the mall rats they all be droppin' hits of LSD while shopping at Lord and Taylor. Seems like a wash.

I remember back in the 80's when girls wore Jordache jeans that were as tight as any spandex. Practically every chick had a pair. Anyone remember the ads for Calvin Klein with Brooke Shields? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YK2VZgJ4AoM

You seem to be missing the point. The girls on Haight-Ashbury weren't 13-14 years old. This thread has been a commentary on how the provacative dress has spread to younger kids.

The Prius/Whole Foods/Buffalo Exchange/LL Bean hipster/hippie crowd has LSD/'shrooms/peyote/heroin as their drugs of choice.

The Hollister crowd has Adderall XR/Focalin/Ritalin and Ritalin LA/Concerta/Vyvanse/Prozac/Paxil/Lexapro/Inderal/Catapres as their drugs of choice, with a good dose of Frontline Plus or Advantage for pubic lice when they're done doing the deed to the football team. :)

I think group 1 sounds cooler.

That's so you can tell a school age female from a full adult version.

Why then, are there societal problems over there?

You mean the country where kids study all the time so that they can get into the best school possible?

In Japan it's also common for high school girl to go on "compensated dates" with middle-aged men.
You can also buy used girls' panties out of vending machines.
Blaming a society's woes on how kids dress is silly.

I only made mention of Japan to further spark conversation, that, and because I have wanted to travel there since I was 4 years old. I am surprised that my earlier post in this thread about Iran and Saudi Arabia got no replies.

Anyway, if less clothing causes societies to cease to exist, France must not exist, since no clothes are required at most of their beaches.

For all you know only foreign tourists go there ..and they merely bring the decay back to their native society.

It could be a 5th column movement. Everyone knows that an outright effort will meet with failure.

Yes they have Alizée to keep the people entertained over there. The Amish shouldn't click the link BTW.
