Stay with green or switch to Toyota Red?

Looks like my fear about silicate dropout was confirmed - we did 2 distilled water fills yesterday, and the radiator cap broke when we did a 3rd one - and there was white goo on the top portion of the gap and I saw tan and white specks on otherwise clean radiator. We ordered a new OEM cap and I'll do 2 more distilled/DI flushes, the wastewater has no more green tinge so it's safe to flush down the toilet.

Yeah, flush it thoroughly and refill with a 50/50 mix of Yota red and distilled water. Why half-butt it just to try to save a few bucks.
