For the price in my auto parts store for Royal Purple it better be superior! Personally I can't afford that millionairs oil so I'm staying with Mobil 1. Generally speaking with that said any other synthetic should fill your needs just as good as Royal Purple.

Pennzoil Plat will save you money and is easy to get at almost any store. Wal-Mart has the jug and is a great deal at $20 a gallon.

Who knows, maybe RP won't shear anymore. I would assume they are using some type of ester to get that high a TBN. ???
