well did the g/f RAV this weekend. has 199k on it, dropped the Ams ACD 10/30 for 5/40 T6. sent sample off to Blackstone as usual.had close to 8K on it.

I'll be interested in this; my friend's 02 Tundra has been running lead of 30 in an 9K OCI. Doing an Autorx run now. It had more than a few years of spotty maintenance, I was curious if a higher viscosity oil might be in order.
well you guys know the history on the RAV for a while now. it was suggested that I go to a 40wt to see if it'll make a difference. I can say that it did sound quieter today and I haven't decided how far out I want to take it for its first run. have been doing ~10K w/ACD might go 7K but will keep an eye on the color and consumption.
