On the Ranger averaged 31mpg on the trip from KC to Ft. Smith. Had it loaded with mattresses on the way down. Drove 65-70... not to shabby for a truck.
Subaru is consistently doing 31.5, which is lower than usual. A quick check yesterday revealed a hot rear axle. Time to inspect the rear brakes, especially the parking brake cables.

That MPG jumps about 2-3MPG if I keep RPMs at or below 3000RPM but what is the point of owning a WRX if out of boost. I used 4000RPM mostly as a shift point(peak torque).
The Buick delivers a smidgen over 21 mpg over 10-11 days, with plenty of A/C use in about 75% city driving. My highway runs out to the suburbs are at about 55-60 mph, depending on traffic. Tryin' to save every drop o' that thar liquid gold, fellers.
My '86 Subaru GL 4wd wagon has been getting 32 mpg, mixed city/highway. This is with an ej22 motor swapped in from a '96 Imprezza. It gets the same mileage as the tired old carbed 1.8 and has a lot more power.
