oversize filter question

Hello and would I be ok, using a S2808 STP filter on my 03' civic? Just wondering as reading thru threads in this section I think SAYJAC used one on a 01' Civic he fixed/maintained. I have a few of these filters and one driveworks filter also. Let me hear your thoughts, opinions and advice folks.

As long as the bypass is the same and the micron rating is close your ok to use it provided it pyhsically fits.

I dont know the specs between the 2 guys. I just know SAYJAC used a S2808 filter on a 01' civic with the same 4cyl as mine without probs

I believe you can run the 2808 also. There is plenty of room for it. Older Hondas call for the 2808. STP specs the s6607 for 2001+ Civics , which is WAY too small for my likings.

Yeah, I hate those small stp filters myself.
