Why?? Is this because you feel comfortable knowing an OEM filter is on or because you think an OEM will have better filtration and flow advantages over say a P1 or WIX?
See if one of these will fit your bike http://balestech.com/filter.htm
I use one on my C90 and I have around 30 different filters of different brands and length to choose from.

Can you explain what you mean here?.,,
If any oil filter wasn't doing it's intended job, there would be premature wear. So any oil filter is better then no oil filter. Proving by disassembly and parts measurement, still wouldn't tell you if your oil filter or your oil was the cause of any motor wear.Claims that one filter works better then another brand is just like oil claims. Easy to make, and hard to prove or disprove.,,
OEM tends to be one of the better rated filters for Suzukis, problem is Suzuki has a weird thread pitch making it so you cant use any of the many car filters on the market.
The suzuki OEM filter is rated as one of the better filters out of the slim selection of filters you can get,

A slightly better than average filter at a super-premium price.
however it does come at a price...
