The days of the MIL being an emissions only tattle are long gone, and the longer you put it off, the more difficult it's gonna be IMO
- No remote start (GM)
- No VSC/Traction Control (Toyota)
- An annoying chime (Ford)
- No cruise control (Toyota/Subaru)
- Lack of pending codes/drive cycle monitors, so future problems will be harder to diagnose
