When the ridiculously low 55 mph NMSL was in effect I figured "in for a penny, in for a pound," and usually cruised considerably north of 85 mph- equipped with an Escort and CB of course. Never got a ticket, even while crossing Pennsylvania at Warp 9 in my Bavaria one drizzly Sunday morning...

OP here,
Like I said, I received the Ticket for going 57 MPH in a 45.
I mailed the Ticket back pleading Not-Guilty.
I just received a new Court date saying they accepted my not-guilty plea.
I'll go to Court in a couple Weeks and pay the Fine.
Probably have to take the Defensive Driving Class.
Live and Learn.
