I'm looking at this 12-gauge too. Its $182 delivered on sale at centerfireguns. I'll have to extend a few OCIs and drink generic beer for a couple weeks. Shouldn't get too much push back from the curtain and sheets buying decision maker.
But, its also so tempting to wait for this KSG(KelTec ShotGun) too:
You left off the Spas 12 and Benelli M1 thru M4 series of auto shotguns. Also the Benelli Nova pump which runs about $280.
Seriously tho, any shotgun is better than no shotgun in self defense. Use what you are comfortable with and know how it functions properly in all conditions.
