Most filter wrenches are adjustable.
This is what i use for changing hydraulic and oil filters at work

If that doest work, either the filter is too big and needs a strap or i use the old screwdriver trick

74 mm 15 flute nominal size. One of the reasons I quit using Wix filters in the shop is that they tend to run a hair small and a filter wrench will slip.
In some cases the position of the filter is the bigger problem.
If a filter slips in the tool, perhaps slip a piece of paper in-between.

Walmart Hyper-tough wrench.....cheap and works well for removing filters but will not tighten one if that's needed. Can handle up to a 98mm filter size.
