Ebola Information

There are an increasing number of cases of Ebola patients in the USA. There is now another confirmed case in Washington DC, and suspected cases in other locations. This could quickly get out of hand if we have too many cases at once.

Something like 13 African countries now have travel restrictions to the affected countries. Until the disease can be contained in those countries I think we need travel restrictions also.

I just don't believe any more much of what any governmental agency says. I don't believe everything the CDC says any more. For a while they were basically saying they could prevent Ebola from coming to the USA. Well, now it is here. There are at least two confirmed cases no and there could be many, many cases soon.

We don't need this on top of all of the other problems we have right now.

Here is an article that suggests that people are using Ibuprofen to mask the symptoms of Ebola so that they can come to America for more effective treatment. This is disturbing that this is a known method of getting past any kind of loose screening in place presently. This conscious cowardly decision pattern may give a glimpse into what might have been the intentions of the Texas man.

Apparently the one in Washington is not Ebola:

You'll see a spike in sensationalized stories. It's something concerning, but it can be dealt with.

There were two possible cases in Washington DC. One turned out to be something else (Malaria, I think) but the last I heard was that the other case was Ebola.

The experimental drug that was used to treat that doctor and that other health care worker is in extremely limited supply. I think they are out of it and it takes time to produce.

The last I heard about the guy in Texas is that he has gone from serious condition to critical.

If you go to this area willingly please stay there.
it wont take long for this to overwhelm our health system.

Thanks for posting the links.

This says it all, just what a lot of us knew, these people have been trying to dupe the public and spewing lies when they open their mouth.

Doctors Are Dramatically and Openly Questioning the Integrity of the CDC

Dr. Gil Mobley, a microbiologist and physician stated in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

“If they’re not lying, they are grossly incompetent,” said Mobley, a microbiologist and emergency trauma physician from Springfield, Mo.

Mobley said the CDC is “sugar-coating” the risk of the virus spreading in the United States.

No problem, this is a national security issue.
The CDC put this out a few days ago.

The special considerations is interesting. What could go wrong in a metal tube at 35,000 feet?
This says it all.

And so it begins.

Nah, we've just got to remember stuff that we already knew.

We forgot about it (and stuff like it) because being older, it's not controllable, and money doesn't flow in the torrents that are required for every beat-up "epidemic".

How much money was made by tamiflu, and how many people did it save through people being scared half to death and spending every waking minute and spare penny on it (and everyone else's spare penny in Oz's case and tamiflu.)

If that link is correct and Ebola has gone airborne, we're all dead.

I think thats a bit extreme but some will die needlessly thats for sure.
They obviously don't want to stop it, If they did they would stop all flights at the point of origin.

Can anyone tell me why they are still allowing flights from these places?

So many replies. Can't filter them. A thought came to mind a couple of weeks ago. If terrorists wanted to really mess with us they'd send in a bunch of infected terrorists into this country. Loaded with Naprosyn so they clear the fever screen.
