I don't hate dogs, but I refuse to be bitten by one. If the owner places the dogs freedom over human life then they are crazy and are no friend of mine.
This,
what if I got a pet tiger, and after 10 years of being a good pet, it ate your youngest son/daughter.
who would you blame?
With certain breeds that's almost how much I trust them with my kids around until proven otherwise. Too many people don't train their dogs and let them know who's boss and where the dog ranks in relation to people, and with a dangerous dog, that has big consequences...
Pitbulls are banned here in Ontario, as the typical owners I saw, seemed to irresponsible "tough guys" who got the dog for the kick they get when someone's afraid of it. We can't ban stupid people so I guess their dogs is the next best thing.
