06' Chevy oil filter ?

I have a 06 chevy silverado 4.8 v8 and have been using purolator pl 14006 premium filter and i have also used the mobil 1 both came back with good uoa's. But i'm looking for a larger filter with more capacity.Does anyone know of any? I've asked the dealer and several parts stores with no success.i figure it will be something taller/longer since there's hardly ant clearance between the oil pan and filter.

The L20123 (AC PF45) is almost 5" tall and no larger in diameter. Try that one.

PL20123 (Pureone), Wix/Napa Gold 51045, Amsoil EaO30. All the longer version.

Yep, the L20123 is the longer version of the L14006. It is 4.5" tall, has the same diameter, gasket size, and is internally the same as the L14006

Dang.. wish I would have seen this before Saturday night. The filter fits so tight to the oil pan and I was thinking how I wished it was just a little longer to make it easier to change.

Well at least I know now.
