Mixing Mobile 1 and Rotella

My engine has 8 its of Mobil1 TDT and needs another qt. Any problem adding a qt of Rotella T6. Oil was just changed.

No issue at all. I run a mix of M1 EFE and Rotella T6 in all of my vehicles. They all love it. They seem to run better on it than any other oil I have tried. The mix is different depending on the specific vehicle's recommended viscosity.

Specifically the answer is no, passing ASTM D6922 guarantees the oils will be miscible. It doesn't guarantee anything else however, such as cold-weather performance, specifications or approvals.

That was a different situation. Gas oil in a diesel. This is 2 diesel oils with different base oils. What do you do...research everybody's posts vs their previous posts?? Must not get out much in the cold upper Midwest.
