Time for a new air filter. OEM Motorcraft or Fram Ultra for a 2017 Focus RS. Any concerns with the lite oil on the Ultra?

I didn't even notice any oil on them when I put in my mercury sable. Good to know my grand marquis seems very sensitive on the MAF sensor

Fram Ultra UGA1114 was sealed in a bag and there was a lite oil on the filter end caps and bag. Construction was very nice and it appears to be a solid filter.

Correct!
Stay far away from the K&N oiled filters. Far away.
The lightly oiled, yellowish Frams are fine business.
OEMs are also fine business.

I'd use it w/o hesitation. As others stated stay clear of the K&N oiled filters, those I'd toss in the trash can.

+1. That's where I love the selection on Rock Auto. I usually buy 2 air filters and 2-3 cabin filters at a time to make shipping reasonable.
