One of the problems with the regular Garage Door Openers is:
A Burglar can take a coat-hangar and slip it between the door and trim and latch onto the Safety Release 'rope'.
Give it a pull and open the door.
So, if you have that Safety Release Rope hanging, tie it up so it can't be caught with a coat-hanger.
