Hey Folks,
I reached out to Warren Distribution regarding the oils they make for Walmart under the SuperTech brand and they sent me the following data sheets. I did a search and did not find VOA's on any of these with exception of the 5w-20 HM Synthetic.
Per Customer Service:
We distribute our fluids all over the US and even international. Thank you for the nice words! J
Data Sheets to follow:
0w-20 Synthetic & HM Synthetic
5w-20 Conventional & HM Conv
5w-20 Synthetic & HM Syn
*WD lists their Typical Values in % rather than PPM--multiply the % by 10,000 (move decimal 4 places to the right) to get PPM (true??)
In comparing WD's DS to the PQIA Data for Synthetic 5w-20 HM from 3/18:
NOAK was a bit lower than stated 10 vs 13 & TBN a bit higher 8.37 vs 7.9.
Interestingly, WD put Ash and Sulfur in their sheets. Re: that...can anyone speak to what those additives/particles/byproducts (dunno what to call them) mean for the engine/CAT converter/longevity of the oil, etc?
--Cheers!
