Other than Fram, does any vendor make an extended life oil filter that is specific to the Hyundai applications?

If the car is still under warranty, you might want to stick with OEM filters and 7500 mi oil changes.

It is well out of warranty. 2nd owner, 99k miles.

There is a Hyundai/Kia-specific Premium Guard extended life filter

I'm actually surprised Wix doesn't make a Hyundai-specific filter, given that they make a lot of more niche filters that Fram and Purolator don't.

For non-extended filters, there's Mann and Hastings

How long of an OCI are you planning?

Personally, I'd check wix for the thread, gasket, bypass pressure, and dimension for another application, and then use that application to search for an extended life filter.

The reviews on the Premium Guard XL are pretty good and rockauto sells them cheap.
