Carquest Premium Oil Filters

Who currently manufactures carquest premium oil filters, Just purchased a carquest 84341 premium oil filter and it’s labeled Korea…Thanks

Still have the old oil filter from my oil change, The old filter was a STP extended life made in china.

Hard to tell who actually makes it as Pentius sources most of it's filters from there and Premium Guard sources some but not as much as Pentius, and then you have Mann-Hummel with a factory there as well.

The Carquest canister filters are Premium Guards if you get current stock, there are still some Purolater made filters in inventory on slower moving sizes from what I can tell.

I don’t know on cartridge filters, as far as I’m aware Premium Guards are coming from Vietnam and China. Lots of cartridge filters come from Korea though including big brand names and some OEM.
