Thoughts? Has anybody used it? Saw this on Autozone.

Saw it on the shelf at my local store, right next to Pentosin Dot 4 LV.

I don't see why it wouldn't be anything but excellent in service.

What do they mean by extended service? One should change the brake fluid every 2-3 years even with synthetics. smile

That looks like a great deal! Better boiling points and lower viscosity and a better price than Pentosin LV or any DOT 5.1!

For reference, the DOT 5.1 minimum boiling points are 500 dry, 356 wet, max visc 900.

The Bosch fluid is 518 dry, 365 wet, visc 670

I wish this was available when I needed it!

hmmmm. We just did the brakes on 1992 245. Used Valvoline DOT 4 synthetic. Wonder how much better this would be? Replaced 4 calipers, 4 premium Raybestos rotors, rebuilt M/C, Wagner premium ceramic pads.

Looks like Bosch may be repackaging a slightly different version of ATE SL6, down to the tin can container.

The boiling points are a bit higher than SL6 (509/347; 700), though Typ200 is a bit higher still (536/388) but not a low-viscosity fluid.

For those who need a readily-available, high-performance LV fluid, this is good news.

This is probably made by ATE for Bosch.
Not sure is color clear or it is dyed like good ole SL6? That was best thing.
