Cooking oil and a paper towel. Form briquetts in to a volcano. wad up a paper towel and insert into crater. Drizzle a little cooking oil onto the wadded up paper towel. light with a match.

I've got the same thing, different packaging and brand, and they are really good.

Can be broken up to feed my gasifying stove, or used as squares for charcoal.

They light well, but slowly enough that you can light one from another without the flame catching you while you place it.

Weber chimney all the way you will never buy a drop of fluid again. I have put about a 800lbs through mine a still works like new

cheetos or corn chips.

You think I'm joking ? Just try it once.
Build up your briquettes and put 7 or 8
of the big orange cheetos on the bottom
and light'em up. Works every time. Plus
no funny taste from the fluid.

Marine stove alcohol.

I figure if the fumes don't kill the cook in the galley, they won't hurt me outside.

and I can't say I ever tasted any of the fuel on my food.
