There is usually a deal for 5 quarts of M1 full synthetic and a M1 filter, i dont see it in the ad

Valvoline yuck. Come on AAP bring back the promotion.

I believe AAP puts M1 oil and filter sales on about every 4 months or so.

Autozone has a Mobil 1 deal running right now (atleast where I live)....Jug of M1, a M1 filter, oil funnel, roll of towels, hand cleaner and a drain pan for $36. I think the jug is only 4qtsm though.

I will add that i do prefer the M1 synthetics, but the Maxlife is my favorite conventional/blend oil out there.

Advance does have Edge for $5.99 per quart.
Don't know if that was the deal you were holding out for, but they had it for all the viscosities including 0w20.

No, I'll pass on $5.99/qt, I was hoping it was part of an OC special with a good filter. Or I was hoping a competitor would offer Edge as part of an OC special and have AAP price match it. I used an O'Reilly ad last month, AAP matched it, and I don't think there is an O'Reilly store within 1000 miles of me. LOL

Mobil 1 is clearly the most popular oil for OC specials, with Pennzoil right behind it, at least in my area.
