I maintain two OPE v-twin engines, both with a one way flap type valve that feeds to the intake via a single hose from only one valve cover.
Why wouldn't you want a automotive style PCV valve in its place along with the second hose that would pull vapors from one valve cover, down through the engine, and out the PCV valve in the opposite valve cover, to the intake.
Hypothesis: An automotive PCV would help keep the crankcase and oil cleaner by removing deposit forming vapor, and also maintain a superior negative crankcase vacuum to the one way flap valve method.
I'm sure I am missing something obvious, thank you.
