I think this sign means you are approaching a yield sign for an intersecting road. This sign in the Nebraska Drivers Manual is enclosed in a yellow warning sign. I've been in the state twenty years and can't recall ever seeing that sign. I'm going to look for that sign next time we our on the highway.

There are traffic rules and there is the way that things actually work in the ultra competitive world of driving in a congested urban area with heavy traffic most all day long.


When I was in Lima Peru some years ago, it seemed that only if the Police were present would the sort of rules we are accustomed to in N.A. be followed.

If there was no Jane or Johnny law, the vehicle with the largest mass had the right of way.
