I just wanted to update this thread and say that I did some looking around at auto parts stores last week out of curiosity.
Not a single H7/H8/H9 I could find outside of NAPA was labeled as made in the USA. Not Super Start, Die Hard, Duralast, none of them.
NAPA Legend wet and AGM are East Penn made, and my EnerSys Odyssey was made in the USA as well.
