Whats the deal with used tractor prices?

This is good to know because I am going to be selling my parents Ford 640 series tractor shortly. I was thinking around $2,800 in my part of the country and that sounds like that will be a good price for the new owner.

My problem is I can't get fuel to flow down to the sediment bowl. I think it will need a new valve at the bottom of the gas tank because it probably is full of corrosion. At least it has good spark as that seems to be the usually problems in starting issues.

I had a coworker who quit his day job to sell tractors full time. The money was definitely there -- He'd get tractors from all over, even from Canada, have them freighted to a shop to get refurbished, then resell them at a hefty markup. And they'd move, quickly.

When I was looking a few years ago, in the 30-40 HP range, a used one was still 10-12K. I ended up just sucking it up and buying new. Hard to believe my tractor was more than my brand new Nissan Versa...

For fixing your driveway, I'm assuming you mean dragging it to smooth it?

Would the F250 do it?
